Warren is a materials engineer and clean-energy entrepreneur whose experience bridges technical development and commercial execution. His background ranges from published research at the National Research Council and business development at battery startups to industrial process engineering at Glencore and helping develop and scale a solar-energy division. Across these environments, he has worked from R&D, engineering and operations through to commercialisation, deployment and sales. He founded PowerPledge and is responsible for its strategy, technology development and commercial rollout.

Richard is a serial entrepreneur and commercial connector with experience and relationships spanning green energy, retail, construction, finance and technology. He brings a strong track record of identifying commercial opportunities, developing relationships and bringing partners together, and helps PowerPledge with site origination, host engagement and the development of strategic and multi-site partnerships.

Zack is an MEng mechanical engineer with experience across battery technology, hardware development, prototyping and software-enabled product design. Formerly an Application Engineer at UK battery manufacturer Volklec, he brings direct battery applications and quality experience and helps PowerPledge develop its product architecture, control logic, EMS interfaces and integration between batteries, chargers and site infrastructure.

Philip combines commodities-market experience with interdisciplinary training across AI, data, finance and business through top-level education and professional experiences, and has experience raising venture capital with Mangrove Capital Partners. He supports PowerPledge’s work on revenue-stack modelling and battery-dispatch optimisation.

Scott has more than 17 years of hands-on electricity-industry experience and founded Hawk Contracting in 2017. His experience spans LV–33kV cable installation and jointing, AP/SAP services, switchgear and transformer installation, substation fit-outs, fault repair and EV-charger installation. He advises and supports PowerPledge on the practical electrical delivery of its infrastructure.

Deji is a UK grid-connections and infrastructure specialist with experience delivering more than 100 sites across EV charging, data centres, residential and commercial infrastructure. His experience covers UKPN and the wider UK DNO and IDNO environment, alongside connection strategy, civils, ICP works, electrical infrastructure and commissioning, with project-management scope extending to 33kV. He advises PowerPledge on grid connections and the practical delivery of battery-backed charging infrastructure.

Ben is a computational physicist and Cambridge PhD researcher with bachelor’s and master’s training in physics from McGill. His research spans electron diffraction, computational physics and machine learning, including published work combining physics-based modelling with machine learning. He advises PowerPledge on modelling methodology, forecasting, optimisation and model validation.

Marina brings more than 18 years of experience across materials engineering, industrial R&D, low-carbon energy research and innovation development. Her background includes an Imperial PhD in solid-oxide fuel cells, management of the UK Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Supergen Hub and Sustainable Gas Institute, and her current role at Imperial’s Energy Futures Lab. She advises PowerPledge on R&D strategy, pilot validation, innovation partnerships and commercialisation.
